Long time ago, there was a small kingdom
in the north of the island of Bali . The Kingdom was called Wanekeling
Kalianget kingdom . In the kingdom , there lived a poor family . The Kingdom
was broke by one of disaster and many citizens died , both from the royal and
commoner . That simple family affected too , four members of his family died
and left the youngest , I Nyoman Jayaprana . Kalianget king at that time , also
feel the sadness for the many people who died , so the king decided to visit
his people. At the time of the visit , the King was interested with Jayaprana
because he wept for the death of both parents and two brothers . Once adopted

Komang Layonsari . Jayaprana don’t want to lose sight of Layonsari , Layonsari
who feel , she observed was trying to disappear among the crowd of the market .After
Layonsari disappeared from view , Jayaprana went back to the palace to report
to the king that he had found her love .The King made a letter and ordered Jayaprana brought the
letter to the home of Jero Bendesa . Arriving home Jero bendesa, Jayaprana gave
the letter . Jero Bendesa King read the letter which was the letter to his
daughter , Layonsari . He didn’t feel his mind when mated with Jayaprana
Layonsari . Jayaprana hear that very happy and he was back to the palace . In
the palace , the King is holding a meeting in the pavilion , Jayaprana
interrupts the meeting to inform the King that his letter is accepted with Jero
Bendesa . At that moment , the King announced that all society on Tuesday Legi
wuku Kuningan ,The king would make married ceremony Jayaprana with Layonsari .
King commanded all perbekel , so began to build houses buildings , halls for
Jayaprana.
At the day of the wedding ceremony
accompanied the village , Jayaprana went to her house , about to took Layonsari

carriage. Layonsari is very beauty in the eyes of the king until he is able to

could not marry Layonsari then he will die from a sadness. As a loyal servant
Sawung Galing also accepted will of the King .The Scene to kill Jayaprana
that given from the King is Jayaprana went to Teluktrima , to investigate boats
destroyed and people who shoot animals in Bajo Pengulon region .
On the seventh day of their honeymoon , a
command came to Jayaprana was to the palace . The King told the command.

Galing when to Teluktrima to investigate the problem in there .
After come back from the palace , Layonsari have dreamt , floods washed away their house , and then woke up from his dreamt and told her husband. She asked for canceled duty from the King because they felt it was a scary dream , but Jayaprana refused the wish of his wife. To make his wife calm , Jayaprana said that life and death are in the power of Ida Sang Hyang Wasa Widhi . The next morning, Jayaprana left his wife with sad . At the way Jayaprana felt something was wrong , his feelings saying that he would be killed . Arriving at the forest of Teluktrima, Sawung Galing attacking Jayaprana , but Jayaprana more powerfull than Sawung Galing., Sawung Galing asked , why the he want killed him . Sawung Galing gave the letter from the King to Jayaprana.

king , you killed me now” Jayaprana gave his dagger to Sawung galing, use for
killed him because the grief is power of Jayaprana. After that , Sawung Galing
easily kill Jayaprana with a heavy heart . Blood but not smell fishy , it
smell fragrant . Jayaprana death was also be a sadness of nature , earthquakes
, hurricanes , rain forest flowers and animals was cry . After the buried
Jayaprana , the retainer back to the palace, and felt very sad . On the way
they got the danger , of which many are dead . Also a white tiger suddenly
attacked and killed Sawung galing .Jayaprana death news is received the
ears of the King. After that the King went to Layonsari house to told about the
news. Layonsari not believe the news of the death of the husband then the King
showed Jayaprana blood in the dagger .Layonsari cried and stuck a dagger
into his own heart . Layonsari was died with her husband .The society
carried Jayaprana and layonsari next to one place, so they could
always together.
